5th floor dedicates a week to increase your sensitivity to internal mobility and its benefits by communicating several useful facts. It takes place from 23 until 27 September 2024.
“Internally mobility, you said?”
Three types of internal mobility are described in the HR literature :
- Geographical : modification of the workplace/customer
- Horizontal : change of team within the same organization
- Vertical : change for a different role requiring new competences
Thanks to internal mobility, each floorian has the equal opportunity to develop his skills and knowledge while evolving in an already-known environment. Internal mobility is also an opportunity to get to know new colleagues and be part of a team that works differently.
For 5th floor, we count also many advantages :
- Internal mobility implies the development of loyalty among the team members instead of replacing them.
- It allows reorganization and optimization of resources based on demand (new project, spontaneous leave of a colleague, new transversal team, etc.).
- It is an investment on already-existing skills and it represents an economy in terms of recruitment costs.
